Germany Mittenwald

Ciao, I'm Shiyu. A curious soul with big dreams.

Seize the day, gather ye rosebuds while ye may. Dreaming deeply, coding endlessly, stumbling over German, chasing light through photography.

This was our second time hiking in Mittenwald. Whenever Yuyun and I feel burned out and low on energy, we go hiking to recharge. This time we picked a route that was about 5 hours long. Mittenwald is a small village at the foot of the mountains. The first part of the route was new to us, but the second part we had done before.
I have to say, it was not an easy route. We ended up taking over 6 hours in the end! But it was totally worth it. The scenery along the way was beautiful, through mountains and forests, past lakes and rivers.
By the time we got home, both of us had sore feet. But I'm sure we'll be feeling energetic and full of energy again tomorrow.
